An unlicensed driver was killed and two passengers were injured in a road crash in Sharjah.
Police said the driver - who was speeding at the time - swerved and smashed into another car on the Kalba Corniche Road in the emirate at about 1pm on Sunday.
The motorist died and two passengers were taken to hospital for treatment.
"The driver was speeding and served suddenly which caused that he loses control over his vehicle," said
Major Mohammed Khalfan Al Kindi, director of traffic and patrols at Kalba police station.
The ages and nationalities of the three were not disclosed by police.
