The far-right columnist Katie Hopkins has left her position at Mail Online, the digital sister publication to the long-standing Daily Mail “by mutual consent”.
Ms Hopkins, who became famous for appearing on the UK version of reality television show The Apprentice, has been frequently accused of racism for her comments about migrants and Muslims.
"Katie's contract was not renewed by mutual consent," Mail Online said in a statement on Monday.
Ms Hopkins was sacked from her job at London’s LBC radio after she tweeted that there needed to be a “final solution” after the Manchester Arena bombing, in which 22 people died
She later deleted the tweet, replacing it with a reworded: “We need a true solution".

The 42-year-old joined Mail Online as a columnist in 2015, having previously written for British tabloid The Sun.
During her time at The Sun, the reality TV star wrote a column comparing migrants to "cockroaches" and "feral humans", calling for gunships to be used to stop migrants crossing the Mediterranean. Her comments were later condemned by the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights, Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein.
Ms Hopkins has frequently found herself in legal trouble for in her columns and on social media. Mail Online paid out £150,000 (Dh734,000) to a Muslim family who Ms Hopkins had falsely said had extremist links.
In March 2017, Ms Hopkins was forced to pay £24,000 in damages and £107,000 in legal costs to a journalist and anti-poverty campaigner after making defamatory remarks on Twitter.
At the time of writing, the former columnist has deleted most of her Twitter activity, keeping only retweets.
