Say no to illegal immigrants, UAE residents urged

UAE residents are being warned against employing illegal immigrants.

A new campaign "No to lawbreakers", launched recently by the Interior Ministry, urges people to report illegal immigrants to the authorities.

Lt Colonel Dr Salah Al Ghoul, the director of the Respect for the Law Office, warned residents against sheltering or employing illegal immigrants, adding that they posed a security risk and put in danger the country's social and economic well-being.

He said illegal immigrants were more likely to be involved in crimes such as fraud and theft and that it was the duty of all members of society to report them.
